It feels like we just chatted, yet here we are, two months later! I must confess, I had a vision of myself breezing through these bi-weekly newsletters given the amount of time I spend in front of my computer. But let me tell you, it's been a bit of a challenge.

It's a puzzle, really. What stories should I bring to you? What stirs your interest? What does it mean to you to be a part of this newsletter family?

I won't pretend to have all the answers. But what I do promise is a willingness to explore, to learn, and to grow alongside you.

Nic and I have been pondering over the heart and soul of A Curious Tractor. We've realised that waiting for the stars to align isn't our style. Sure, having all the partners, resources, and time can be wonderful. But sometimes... you just need to buckle up and take the leap.

So, here we are - ready to take that leap, with you along for the ride. Let's navigate this fascinating journey of curiosity, action, and discovery together.

• Con-nected is still in progress. We are on the journey to find fuse technology with intrinsic motivation to make it through court orders.

• Re-connected has been getting some updates. We have been building a map and database to reflect prison and youth detention information and working with some organisations to experiment with how this could be scaled. Next we are going to look at mapping services and support.

• We are working with Joe Kwon at ConFit to build out a Digital Mentoring system and App. He has an incredible brand and connection with young people in detention and want to help this scale wider.

• Soon to start some work with Deadly Science in discovering innovative ways to teach STEM in Youth Detention.

• We have been building out the rumblings of something new in the storytelling space. Read this post and get in touch if it strikes a cord.

• Soon to kick off a fresh produce and experiential community garden up at the farm. Can’t wait to tell you all about this.

• Have put the feelers out to conceptualise a festival up at the farm. bacchanalian fire festival anyone?

• I got to see VIVID for the first time last week in Sydney. Such a cool concept and cool vibe in a city that so often overwhelms my spirit.

• Nic jetted off to Italy for a hang with relatives with a heap of opportunities to build stuff and get his hands dirty.

• My girls qualifies for Ninja nationals. Proud of their spirit, strength and tenacity.
